GL Series Horizontal Dry Granulator

Overview:

Dry granulation is a process where dry powder materials, after being mixed, are fed into a hopper by a dedicated feeder (pneumatic or motor-driven). The material is then transported by a screw conveyor to the pressure chamber, where two high-pressure rollers compress the material into high-density sheets. These sheets are cut into small pieces by a cutting system, and then passed through a two-stage sizing system to produce granules of the required size, completing the granulation process.

Applications:
The GL system is a new type of dry granulator widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food industry, granulation and other sectors. Based on multiple advantages, it is widely applied in the processing of various active pharmaceutical ingredients, especially indispensable for heat-sensitive and thermolabile drugs.

Performance Features:
The machine is designed with two main sections: the internal body and the external working area on the operator panel side. Drive parts and auxiliary facilities are located inside the machine body, while parts that contact materials are placed outside the operator panel, with multiple seals in between. The working section operates in a completely sealed state, and all material-contact parts are easy to disassemble and clean. This effectively prevents dust leakage, reduces contamination risks, minimizes cleanroom area, and fully complies with requirements for pharmaceutical production.
