GK Series Dry Granulator
Overview
This machine is a new equipment that utilizes crystal water (moisture content 0.5-5%) in powder materials for degassing, shrinking, and sizing to produce ideal granules.
The machine features reasonable structure, stable and reliable performance, easy cleaning and maintenance, high output, and good granule flowability. The granules produced can be used for tablet pressing, granule preparation, capsule filling, etc.
This machine is mainly used for granulation in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries. It is particularly suitable for materials that cannot be processed by wet granulation. It can be used in combination with spray dryers, mixers, etc.
Principle and Features
The machine consists of lifting, feeding, compressing, sizing, hydraulic, cooling, frame, outer cover and electrical components.
① Lifting part: Hydraulic lift cylinder raises and lowers the feeding mechanism, with limit switches controlling position and interlocking with feeding, compressing and sizing.
② Feeding part: Motor drives a double-cone variable-pitch screw to pre-compress and degas powder material. Feeding speed is infinitely adjustable (VFD) according to different material properties.
③ Compressing part: Motor drives a cycloidal pinwheel reducer to rotate the transmission shaft, causing two pressure rollers to rotate relatively under pressure, compressing powder into sheets. Roller speed is infinitely adjustable (VFD) according to material compressibility.
④ Sizing part: VFD motor drives a sizing knife to rotate, forming sheet material into required granules that are discharged through mesh openings.
⑤ Pressure part: Electric vane pump supplies oil to the cylinder, stabilized by an accumulator, with pressure upper/lower limits set by an electric contact pressure gauge.
⑥ Cooling part: Tap water or chilled water can be used for forced cooling of roller surfaces through HS-X32A bidirectional rotary joints and shaft holes. This machine features novel and reasonable structure, stable and reliable performance, low noise, and easy cleaning and maintenance.
