QLJ Fluidized Bed Jet Mill

Overview
Fluidized bed jet mill is a device that uses high-speed airflow to achieve dry ultra-fine crushing of materials. It consists of crushing nozzles, a classifying rotor, a screw feeder, etc. Materials enter the crushing chamber through the screw feeder. High-pressure air is injected into the crushing chamber at high speed through specially configured supersonic nozzles. Materials are accelerated in the supersonic jet stream, repeatedly impacting and colliding at the nozzle intersection to achieve crushing. The crushed materials rise with the airflow into the classifying chamber. Due to the high-speed rotation of the classifying rotor, particles are subjected to both centrifugal force from the rotor and centripetal force from air viscosity. When centrifugal force exceeds centripetal force, coarse particles above the cut size return to the crushing chamber for further impact crushing. Fine particles below the cut size enter the cyclone separator and collector with the airflow, while gas is discharged by the induced draft fan.

Principle and Features
1. Low energy consumption: saves 30%-40% energy compared to other jet mills.
2. Low wear: Since the main crushing mechanism is particle-to-particle impact collision, high-speed particles rarely collide with the wall surface. Suitable for crushing materials with Mohs hardness above grade 9.
3. Wide crushing range: d97=2-15μm. Compact structure with internal closed-circuit crushing. Easy maintenance, operated with imported frequency converters, automatic control. Inert gases can be used as working medium for flammable and explosive materials.
4. No temperature rise: Since materials are crushed under gas expansion conditions, the crushing chamber temperature is maintained at normal temperature.
5. No contamination: Materials are crushed by self-collision driven by airflow, without introducing media, thus no contamination during the crushing process.

Applications
This machine is widely used for ultra-fine crushing of dry powder materials in pharmaceutical, traditional Chinese medicine, pesticide, chemical, metallurgy, non-metallic minerals, talc, barite, kaolin, quartz, graphite, flame retardant materials, advanced materials, ceramics, etc.
